Prince William County Police responded to the 14800 block of Emberdale Drive just before midnight on Sunday, March 9, after receiving reports of an escalating domestic altercation.

Investigators determined that a 22-year-old woman had been involved in a verbal argument when one family member grabbed her while two others physically restrained her from leaving, police said.

When officers arrived, they found the victim being held down and immediately intervened.

She sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Five people were arrested and charged with abduction, while some also faced domestic assault and battery charges, according to police.

Woodbridge residents Willie Devron Curry, 23, Monique Geraldine Charlton, 49, and Anthony Navarro Frazier Jr., 26, were each charged with abduction and domestic assault and battery.

Iann Haley Azuria Byrd, 23, of Bowling Green, and Olyvia Nesbitt, 21, also of Woodbridge, were both charged with abduction.

Court dates for all five suspects are pending, and bond information was not available on Monday afternoon.
